Cleaning and disinfection: what's the difference?
Cleaning
Cleaning removes dirt and other residues from a surface. It is an important part of daily maintenance in sports and leisure areas.
Disinfection
Disinfection aims to reduce or inactivate certain microorganisms using a suitable, legally authorised product.
Important considerations
- Check that the disinfectant is legally authorised for the intended application.
- Follow the prescribed dosage and contact time.
- Always follow the product's instructions for use.
- Check beforehand that the product is compatible with the materials being treated.
