Professional pool chemicals for water treatment
The right products for disinfection, pH control and balanced water quality.
Properly managed pool water quality is essential for swimmers' hygiene and comfort.
Pool water must therefore be regularly tested and treated in accordance with applicable regulations and the technical characteristics of the installation.
EVLO offers a range of professional pool chemicals for various water treatment and pool maintenance applications.
View our recommended pool and cleaning productsOur range includes:
- Chlorine products: for suitable applications in pool water disinfection.
- pH-reducing products: for correcting an excessively high pH level.
- pH-increasing products: for correcting an excessively low pH level.
- Water balance products: for adjusting relevant water parameters.
- Flocculants and clarifiers: for applications where fine suspended particles need to be removed.
- Additional pool maintenance products: tailored to the specific water treatment installation.
pH control and pool water disinfection
The pH level affects how certain disinfectants work and influences swimmers' comfort. For this reason, pH and other relevant water parameters must be measured and adjusted according to an established monitoring schedule.
EVLO supports pool operators in choosing suitable products for:
- Adjusting the pH level
- Treating pool water with suitable disinfectants
- Maintaining balanced water quality
- Supporting the operation of the water treatment installation
- Carrying out prescribed water treatment procedures
Important
Pool chemicals must always be used according to instructions and with suitable dosing equipment. Different chemicals must never be mixed without proper controls. Contact between chlorine products and acids in particular can cause dangerous reactions.

Frequently asked questions about professional cleaning and pool maintenance
Which products does EVLO supply for pool water treatment?
EVLO offers professional pool chemicals for disinfection, pH adjustment, water balance and general pool maintenance, among other applications. Our specialists help you select suitable products based on the installation and the prescribed water treatment procedure.
Which cleaning products are suitable for swimming pools?
Professional floor cleaners, sanitary cleaners, descalers, glass cleaners and interior cleaners are among the products used in swimming pool complexes. The right choice depends on the surface, the type of dirt and the damp conditions.
How can I remove limescale from showers and changing rooms?
Suitable professional descalers can be used to remove limescale. Always check that the product is compatible with the materials present and follow the prescribed instructions for use and rinsing.
Which products are suitable for cleaning pool surrounds?
This depends on the floor finish, the type of dirt and the materials used. Not every floor cleaner is suitable for anti-slip floors or other specialist surfaces. EVLO helps you choose products that comply with the flooring manufacturer's instructions.
What is the difference between pool water disinfection and surface disinfection?
Pool water disinfection focuses on treating pool water. Surface disinfection is carried out on suitable surfaces using products authorised for that purpose. A product intended for pool water treatment must not automatically be used to disinfect floors or other surfaces.
Which cleaning machines are suitable for swimming pool complexes?
Scrubber dryers, professional vacuum cleaners and industrial wet and dry vacuum cleaners may be suitable for certain areas within swimming pool complexes. The right choice depends on the floor type, moisture conditions and the machine's technical characteristics.
Can EVLO advise on the right pool chemicals and product dosing?
